Kevin Newhouse has been in the financial industry since 2009 and takes great pride in providing top quality client service. He grew up in Santa Cruz County and is a graduate of Aptos High School. Kevin attended Humboldt State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration.
Kevin has a background in accounting and tax preparation. He grew up helping at his father's CPA practice and also worked for several years as a tax preparer. He then spent close to 10 years at Morgan Stanley. The experience he gained at Morgan Stanley has given him the skills and ability to create, analyze, and monitor investment portfolios. During his time at Morgan Stanley, Kevin was able to earn his Series 7, Series 66, and California Insurance license.
In his spare time, Kevin likes to research local history and has had several articles published in local newspapers. In 2013, he published a book titled, "Images of America: Aptos" and has donated 100% of the proceeds to the Aptos History Museum. In 2023, the Aptos Chamber of Commerce recognized Kevin as "Man of the Year" for his contributions to preserving local history.
Kevin is also an experienced triathlete who has competed in several triathlons. His achievements include multiple first-place finishes among his age group and finished strong in the Ironman Santa Cruz 70.3 distance.
Kevin and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy spending their free time hiking in the forest, watching movies, and cooking for each other. They have a dog named Peanut and a tortoise named Amelia.
